Mrs. Sheppard teaches elementary students weekly music classes where musicianship, musical skills, theory, instrumental technique, reading and writing music, and more are practiced!

ACDA Choral Festival
The Ouachita Christian School Elementary Choir (comprised of 3rd-6th graders) participated in the Southern Choral Classic festival assessment in March of 2024 at West Ouachita High School, and received all Superior ratings! The singers worked so hard, sacrificed a whole lot, and created something wonderful together!

Community Involvement
The OCS Elementary Choir recently performed across the community by visiting Chauvin Pointe Retirement Community, Azalea Estates, Chennault Aviation Museum, and NELA Veterans’ Home. They were also invited to perform at the Chennault Aviation Museum’s Christmas party.
